About Alex Ranjha

Those who knew Alex Ranjha as a young boy could see he was destined to be a successful entrepreneur with a fruitful and bespoke career. At age eight, he started a printing company that made greeting cards, addressed labels, and stuffed envelopes with marketing material for companies.

He chose not to stay in the printing business, opting for a career in law only after getting his MBA. His law firm, Ranjha Law Group, is in Oak Brook, Illinois, where the owner and president have been practicing for ten years. He specializes in real estate law, estate planning law, and business formation and put together a stellar team that reflects his passion, commitment to clients, honesty, and integrity.

His professional accolades include receiving the 2023 Super Lawyers award/nomination, a rating service for outstanding lawyers with high peer recognition and professional achievement. Alex Ranjha, attorney, has also been selected for “Lifestyles’ Thriving 20 Under 40” in Kankakee County for 2024, recognizing individuals making a significant mark in the community. He will be among the Thriving 20 Under 40 featured in an upcoming issue of the Kankakee Daily Journal.

In 2022, he was named one of the “40 Under 40” in Illinois for his legal talent. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar and the Chicago Bar Associations. He is also a member of several diverse associations, including the American Land Title Association, the Illinois Land Title Association (ILTA), and the ARAG Attorney Network. He sponsors the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association (IRELA). He keeps up with industry trends and his customers’ needs.

His practice consists of real estate and estate planning teams. A Strong Educational Background: From a B.S. to an MBA and Law Degree

He attended Southern Illinois University (SIU) in Carbondale for his undergraduate work and received a B.S. in TRM/Land Surveying. He received his MBA from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois.

He received his Juris Doctor in 2012 from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (formerly John Marshall Law School). While attending law school, he participated in the Fred F. Herzog Moot Court, where participants researched and wrote a Supreme Court appellate brief and prepared an oral argument to present at the Dirksen Federal Court House in Chicago.

During law school, he also participated in an externship with the Circuit Court of Cook County Mortgage Foreclosure Mediation Program, where he assisted pro se litigants with legal analysis and pleadings. When he isn’t practicing law, Alex loves to travel and experience the cultures, culinary cuisine, and customs of the people in the lands he visits.
